Please be advised


On October 11, 12, 15th, 16th & 17th there were 7 Residential Burglaries in the DR Phillips area.

  • These all happened in the morning between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
  • Entry was gained through rear doors, sliders pryed open.
  • Items taken include: Tapestries, jewelry, money, wallets, credit cards , and a lap top computer.

In Several of these neighborhoods the same people were described, as have being seen in the area at the time of the Burglaries:

  • 2 tall thin girls in about their early 20's, one with Blonde hair the other Reddish Brown hair, they both wore there hair up, one was wearing a back pack.
  • They were seen stopping at homes and ringing door bells asking for "Alex" and telling a story.
  • They left the area in a Silver 4-door Sedan

In another neighborhood 2 people seen were described as:

  • One male, 5'8" about 40ish, dark hair, heavy mustache, with dark skin,(Hispanic, Middle Eastern or Gypsy)
  • One Female, 5'3" about 50, also with dark skin, heavy set, wearing a bandana.
  • They were seen leaving in a Silver 4-Door Sedan.

If you see anyone suspicious walking door to door at any time but especially between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. or if you see anyone fitting these descriptions, please Call the Sheriff Office ASAP at (407) 737-2400

  • If your doorbell rings, make your presence in your home known. (barking dog, loud music) Even if you don't answer the door. If you do answer the door be careful, don't believe "stories" told by strangers.
